Nestled at 3445 Freeport Blvd, this restaurant offers a diverse menu that caters to a variety of palates, ensuring that each visit feels refreshingly unique.

The cuisine here is a delightful mix of modern Americana, with offerings ranging from hearty burgers and scrumptious tacos to creative salads and savory brunch dishes. Dive into their truffle infusion burger that boasts a rich flavor profile complemented by a refreshing side salad – it has been described by patrons as one of the best burgers around. If you're in for breakfast or brunch, you cannot miss the whimsical loaded veggie omelet, brimming with a robust mix of mushrooms, onions, and garlic, making it a satisfying choice to kick-start your day.

Of course, the experience extends beyond the menu. The atmosphere at Meet & Eat is hip and modern, with the option for outdoor seating that lets you enjoy the Californian weather in tranquil surroundings. Customers rave about the attention to detail in the restaurant's decor, complete with a charming grape vine adorning the entry gate, offering a picturesque setting for leisurely morning brunches or casual lunches with friends.

Enthusiastic reviews laud the stunning plate presentations that not only please the palate but also the eyes, enhancing your entire dining experience.

However, it's worth noting that while the atmosphere and creativity are on point, some diners have expressed concerns over portion sizes in items priced on the higher end. Whether you’re looking for a cozy date night or a vibrant brunch with friends, you’ll find that this restaurant shines bright on the Sacramento food scene.

LOVE this place!!!! My husband and I have come here for our date so many times. I feel every time we go there is something new on the menu. Service is amazing and the plate presentation is fantastic. We like the restaurant atmosphere where they have heaters when it’s cold and the lighting is nice as well. Hands down one of our favorite places to go in Sacramento

So my problem is that the food was skimpy. If you’re gonna charge $20-$30 a plate, give me Meat. I ordered the pork belly Benedict and my brother got the bacon and hash brown Benedict. There was a lack of meat on the pork belly Benedict. It was all covered up with pickled radish, egg, and lettuce. I was so hungry. The house potatoes were seasoned well but I didn’t come to eat potatoes. I was so disappointed with the lack of meat on my Benedict I ended up ordering a side of pancakes and a side of bacon. I only wanted one pancake but I had to get 2. Since there is no a-la-cart pancake. The flavors were there but it wasn’t enough. Also it’s $15 for a basic margarita, $15 per mimosa and $15 a cocktail. Most breakfast places charge $15 for bottomless so I really felt over charged for the lack of meat. The waitress said they weigh the meat for each meal. I had to negotiate that instead of paying full price at $30 for the plate, I still had to pay $15 for all that fluff and potatoes with no meat. The waitress was super nice and the manager was trying to work with me I guess. I still had to pay $14 for just 2 pancakes and $8 for a plate of bacon. On Wednesdays the bottles of wine and champagne are half off so that was nice to get mimosas that way but overall I definitely wouldn’t be going back.

Always delicious and fresh! Quick lunch the other day after our house tour and the food was just what we needed. I had the kale and mushroom raviolis and they were perfect in a creamy and surprisingly light Alfredo sauce. Everyone enjoyed their food and, and beware, good sized portions! To go boxes for a couple of us! Yay!

Went on a weekday afternoon for lunch. It wasn’t too busy and was sat outside. The restaurant has a very hip and modern feel. Service was great and restaurant was accommodating when we asked to replace spicy mayo with regular mayo. Had some loaded fries as an appetizer. For the main plate, I had the truffle infusion burger with a side salad. The burger was delicious! Definitely one of the best artisan burgers I’ve had in a while. I didn’t enjoy the salad as much; the dressing was a bit too sour for my taste. Got a cake to share at the end and it was amazing! They source their cakes locally. I thoroughly enjoyed my whole meal and overall experience. Would return!

Meet & Eat is close to the house so often pops up on my searches for places to try. Finally had a chance to stop by for brunch and wasn’t disappointed. They have a pretty nice menu with a mix of traditional and specialty items. I went for something I don’t usually get with the loaded veggie omelet but with a side of bacon. The omelet was excellent with a good mix of mushrooms, onions, garlic, spinach, and tomatoes topped with a sliced avocado. It tasted very good and the bacon added a great savory mix. The portions were generous but will say the coffee was good but sometimes was served warm (not hot) as they were serving from dispensers that may have been out awhile. I’d give them a higher rating but everything was also pricey. My breakfast was a bit over $30, which maybe isn’t eye popping these days but still a lot. Service was excellent but parking at peak times may be a small issue as the lot is small and you’ll need to find spots along the street or the small park. It’s a short walk so not a big deal. Definitely recommend and will return to try some other options.

Great place to brunch and lunch. The food is good with a wide variety of options from burgers to tacos to bahn mi sandwich to salads. I enjoy their atmosphere a bit more than the food but that's what makes this place a nice place to dine. The food is good, nicely plated and consistent. Their coffees/teas are a bit on the sweeter side but you can always ask to adjust the sweetness. The staff are friendly and always welcoming.

Located in a lovely neighborhood, this restaurant offers a pleasant experience. There was the choice of indoor or shady outdoor seating, so the Californian weather could be enjoyed in peace. There was not a long wait, however you can make reservations. The decor is beautiful and even has a grape vine crawling up the side of the gate outside. The servers were attentive to our needs, patient, and overall lovely. The food was delectable, I recommend the blueberry pancakes for brunch, the salmon burger and lamb burger for lunch. There were alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, coffees, and teas. The bathroom is neat, which is a bonus.
